"This is a great little hidden gem. Located on Warwick Blvd in Newport News. Don't let the outside look deceive you. It may look small & to some maybe a little dated, but it is well worth the stop. The inside is kept up nicely. Very pretty booth designs, seats are comfy. Tables are nice. There's a small bar area. Bathrooms are clean & spacious, located at the front of the restaurant to the far right as you enter. My husband ordered the fried seafood chimichangas which he loved. They came topped with extra shrimp. The plate looked good, large portions. My kids ordered the chicken strips with fries & the cheese quesadilla with rice. All were very good. We grabbed an early dinner. My bunch got caught in one of the pics still showing down, ha. Lunch prices cut off at 2:30 pm & please note, if you see menu prices online,don't assume that is what it will be when you arrive. Menu's do change from time to time & depending on when that photo or review was done, prices can go up or down depending on the economy. If you do online ordering always call & verify prices before placing order by online menu photos. My thing is always, "how's the dips" I judge most Mexican restaurants by their dips in portions, look & of course, the taste. Their cheese dip was great. If you order the large, it will come as 2 separate regular size bowls of dip. If you order the regular you get one bowl. You can see the jalapenos & other ingredients finely chopped up in it. Not overwhelming in flavor. The balance was just right. Sorry my bunch sucked that cheese dip down before I could get the picture, lol. But it was really good. I'll add a pic next time I visit. "Si senor!!! Where can I start. I read reviews and willing to give it a shot. From the beginning to the end. From the complementary chips & salsas was amazing fresh and delicious. Not to mention the seasoning on the mocajete to the mojito drinks and very important espectacular customer service. I give this place a 100 starts and we will def will be back for more banging flavor. The only thing a truly regret and not discovering this restaurant before. Thank you so much for everything. "

"4.6 We walked in here and it was pretty crowded. But we were seated right away. My husband got the Cucumber jalapeno margarita and it was so so good. We got Mexican Fresh Guacamole for the table, and a woman brought a cart over and made the guacamole for us at our table. I ordered the Enchiladas poblanos, and my husband ordered Camarones al mojo de ajo. Everything was AMAZING!!! There was a few big parties in the restaurant, the big party next to us was a bunch of really drunk college kids. But it didn't ruin our experience. The food was great, the service was great, and the kids were so drunk they provided a free show. Highly recommend to anyone looking for some good Mexican food! ROUND 2! Man this food is good. I want to try a few more Mexican food places but this is by far the best Mexican food we've had in Virginia so far. HIGHLY recommend"

"The seafood chimichanga is good. The portion is nice for the lunch. We also order The enchilada del Ma. They use imitation crab, not real crab as they said on the menu. They are nice to let us change to something else. The staff is nice."

"Fresh, fast service and tasty! We just recently celebrated my son's Birthday here. The waitress was welcoming, polite and attentive! It's a bit small inside but decorated nicely, love the plants and the food was very good! Thank you!"
